Designed while an intern architect at IBI Group Architects in Calgary, Ann led the 1700 square meter addition and renovation to the existing 55 resident Sunshine Lodge nursing home in Drumheller, Alberta. The wood frame addition includes 29 new units organized into 3 smaller social clusters which radiate from a curved, naturally-lit corridor. Common spaces include a dining room, wellness centre, internet cafe, fireside library and picket-fenced wandering garden.
